The Year of the Mouse

People call it the year of the rat, but I think rats are dirty and ugly in appearance. Mice are more friendly and cute. Mice are sharp and alert to the stimuli in the environment, are sensitive and therefore more prepared for change and new things. Mice have the instinctual 6th sense to what is about to happen. Mice are active and swift. And so this will be for the Year of the Mouse. Those who embrace the year with faith and hope will be alert to the opportunities and act swiftly to take advantages of them. There may be uncertainty, but we must embrace this year with faith.

The numer of eight

2008 marks the beginning of a new seasion. The nmber "seven" carries the meaning of completion. The number "eight", therefore, signifies the beginning of a new season. Just like seven days has gone, the eighth day is the beginning of a new week. I like to mark this year as the beginning of the various aspects in my life.

Groove, etc

My husband has turned into a Groove Fanatic this year! It is quite a useful way to organise files and to do lists,etc, I must say. Much of our communication has since been happening on Groove! I can't complain cos at least he is trying to be organised. I am very happy with the way he has started the year. He has been swimming everyday, eating reasonably well, and getting himself organised. I must have done something right!
